Order of the Canoe

I have a few Case knives that would really go well with that OH . That being the much newer run of the Rogers Jigged Walnut Bone series but they never had the Canoe in the series. My loss on that .
I think your Canoe looks great . It has probably changed my mind on Canoes . Thank you for that .

Harry

Yay! Sounds like you're opening up to the canoe pattern!

Thank you to everyone for posting your beautiful canoes! I'm enjoying the pics immensely! Until I started this thread, I'd only seen a handful of canoes. I had no idea how beautiful they could be.

I only have one canoe but it do have a couple of AG Russell's War Eagle Brand small canoes which if I remember correctly are larger than a Baby Butterbean. I have to say that I am a recent convert. I don't know that they will replace my love of stockman but they do get a good amount of pocket time.

These are my only canoes. Mostly I like the fat handles of the Schrade IXL!!

Let's not forget GEC's 16 pattern the rather oddly named, Little Indian Girl. It has a lot of bolsters and I think quite a few are still out there with the dealers as it was not a big hit, it seems. It came with a comprehensive choice of handles too, including a Turquoise acrylic I think.

See post No.27 with macchina's Northfield, great bone on it.

A cannitler? Sure, it counts! [emoji106] Looks great! I would also say that a baby butterbean counts, too.

Great knife, I used to own a Boker Beer Barrel, but I gave that to my Dad who then lost it later to TSA.

I think I remember the GEC 16 having a problem with the bolster not covering the blade when closed, which is why I never picked one up.

I've got one of those Colt canoes and it is a very nice example. The Colts are quite good across the range. I like them.

Well heck, I didn't know the Canittler counted. I have an older Rough Rider Canoe too but no picture.
