Photos Patina thread

This old Schrade has a little patina going on.

I see you've replaced your pepper-chopper, David!!:) Your Case is getting a little long . . .errr . . short . . .in the tooth!!:cool:
Nice to see one livin' the life of a knife!!!:D

Yeah that old Case has seen better days,however I found it in pretty rough shape. I found it in a house we cleaned out,I moved a full but untied garbage bag and a cigar box fell out. A bunch of odds'n'ends junk fell out along with the Case. It was loose,very dull and had tar all over the blade,I'm fairly certain it was used to cut shingles of all things. I tightened it up and peened the pin,cleaned the gunk off and sharpened it, like most Case knives from the 70's it gets screaming sharp. Rescued literally from the trash.
 
A knife my late Father carried for many years, with plenty of patina, until I persuaded him to retire it and replaced it with something modern that locked and covered the tip when closed...

I've never managed to make out the maker's name, but here are both sides if anyone can put a brand to it.
