Damn, this is amazing work, I noticed back on the first page you said that you didn't feel comfortable doing checks, is houndstooth something that you'd consider?

Hmmm...I had to look that one up, something like this?

It's probably doable, and it would definitely add grip to plain slabs...basically 50% background removal so there's a lot of labor involved.

That pattern would be trickier, probably doable still with the same 50% background removal.

I don't engrave on anodized aluminum, too much risk of flaking around the cuts with the methods I use.

Hey man, been looking through your work, looks great! I have been searching for someone who can do some anodizing on just some small hardware pieces. I need the two Ti barrel spacers and the blade stop bar anodized in a light teal green color, and then both sides of the pivot polished instead of the black that they are. All finished up... hand engraved then selectively blasted and anodized. The anodizing lets you tell the two sides apart, which makes having it in the right orientation for use after opening way easier;) Currently available for $225 shipped in the US:)

That looks incredible Chip. This is going to be one very unique ZT0095BW. The contrast between the satin, blasted finish, and the black washed blade is going to be awesome. Can’t wait to see this knife all back together and ready for some more pocket time. Thanks for sharing the progress photos.

I recently pick up a ZT 801ti and I’m interested in anodizing it to look like the 801tiblu or something better if the artist has any ideas. What would something like that cost?
