Me and the baby have been cuddling under the covers since like 1130 today. Lazy day today before I spend the next two days cleaning house literally!! And by baby I mean 5 months old and 60lbs!!

These guys started visiting yesterday afternoon, and just dropped in again today. Couldn’t get them all in one frame, but there are two adults and eight chicks all told. It was quite the show when a hawk flew through the yard thinking it was going to snag a little snack. The big girls were having none of it.

This little girl was buzzing around the pro shop at the golf course we play at on Memorial Day. Never one to let things like that be, and also being a few inches taller than the guy who owns the course, I took it upon myself to extricate her from her plight. Snapped this picture before she took off in the parking lot.
