The ones being shared might not like that. As in the case of the skeeter in the video I posted a week or so ago.

I have recipes for many woodland creatures... Outside of normal game animals (rabbit, squirrel,deer ect) I've done woodchuck and snapping turtle. I had intended to cook a possum caught in one of my cubby sets many years ago, but I couldn't get past how stinky it was. I have read that they go well with sweet potatoes. Maybe someday I'll have another go, but I'd just as soon see them out eating ticks.
 
Is there any difference between a possum, and opossum?? Always wondered…
 
My wife and I drove up through western Pa and straight into Buffalo to breach the border. Seemed like nice country and people. Of course we did not stop IN Buffalo ;)

My Grandfather was a sharecropper during and after the Depression in SW Va. He assured me all meat could be cooked and made to eat. I brought a creek snapper into the house and started to boil it, he said that one needed to be cooked OUTSIDE! LOL!

Drop of the poison for good measure of course, before wiped up with a tiny piece of tissue paper and tossed in the trash where he belongs.

mosquitos have been super vicious this summer so far. I started wearing shorts and bare foot this summer outside while sitting at night. mainly cause it's been super hot this summer. haven't worn them in decades or gone barefoot since my 20s. I've remembered why I stopped wearing shorts and being barefoot decades ago. mosquitos have been eating me alive. with jeans and boots they can't get to the lower part of me. needless to say, I've switched back to my jeans and boots outside. being warm is better than being eaten


long story over....and to the point, i have no sympathy for them......keep the killing going, David. no mercy. I just smash them myself. i need to hang some bat boxes up in the backyard......and attract more nighttime army of mosquito killers. also need to plant some plants to attract dragonflies in for more daytime killing......
 
I gave Smokey his first bath and he's never fought me so hard. He was sensible enough not to use his cutters, though he did make two feigned nips at my wrist. On the plus side, most of his mats are removed now.
