Photos SharpByCoop's Gallery of Handmade Knives

Let's give this another try. I've created a set of actions in Photoshop, and a folder for images specifically for Bladeforums, to reduce the file size so it can post through the current under 500kb Xenforo software limit.

I am all about efficiency. Hosting separately, linking, and back and forth simply takes more of my shortened time than I will sustain. I will post through the BF software until my BF storage limit is met.

I am going to copy text from my daily Instagram posts. The Instagram ID tags will remain if you need to search further. Or use Facebook and Google.

UPstanding work! @JoshSmithKnives MS created what is considered the most complicated build in fixed blade knives and runs it up the flagpole FTW!

Francesca @WilburnForgeLeather takes her cue and matched the quality with an INCREDIBLE sheath with a removable sleeve. Those are ivory inserts in the sheath!

The GIFT of friendship. This knife was sent by my beloved friend STeven Garson @Kohai1999 this past month.

He knows I have a short collection of 'light' micarta type knives, and this vintage blade sure fills that niche.

STeven is renowned for his direct approach and his open heart. Emphasis on the open heart.

What a GREAT small 'fighter' by Ron Gaston. The grinds, the tapered tang and the sturdy sheath are all dependably built. (Could not find an Instagram. Is he around?)

Thank YOU! This goes on the 'cherished' shelf with other gift knives which remain in my collection forever. :)

(SharpByCoop video to follow!)

His mosaic steel he calls 'Rose Garden'. This said, how appropriate to make the presentation stand as an ivy trellis, forged out of wrought iron, as is the budding guard.

Anders @HogstromKnives has CLEARLY made his impressions in our world. First off is his unmistakable silver patinated guards, and the next are those 'Fibonacci' curves.

Oh... and then it's the handle materials....

Damasteel is predominant.

Apocalypse NOW! @MGregoryKnives named this beast 'Toe Cutter'. Read WHY from Matt:

"Named after that illustrious character from the original ‘Mad Max’ movie.
I felt that was an appropriate reference for the last knife of 2020.
8-3/4” blade of .280” thick Crucible CPM-4v, aged and etched using my buddy @wildertools chemical method.
Massive and stupid.
23-1/8 ounces
Handle is a Terotuf core, covered in scrunchy gnarly sharkskin, wrapped in forest green tsukaito, soaked in resin for resilience. Not-a-guard is a drab, olive green @richlite paper micarta, left with its milled finish on the front.
Point of balance is 2 inches in front of the handle.
Perfectly matched sheath by @jg.on.ig
Perhaps the dumbest implement for the apocalypse. This one will leave a mark, regardless of what part of it that you hit with. "
