Thanks Roland. Flickr may be more stable. Fototime WAS stable, until it wasn't.

I have posted on the Fototime Facebook page asking about the downtime. My post was deleted in an hour.

They are watching and yet not responding.

I have used Fototime for a very long time too. All my posts are shot. Some pretty rare stuff, gone. This isn't good.

BTW: If you had a signature image hosted through Fototime, please eliminate that.

I'm finding it takes a minute for the pages to complete loading, because there is no resolve from FT.

Museum quality! Dennis @FriedlyKnives *astounds* us with his visions and materials.

This Bowie is heading towards the #ICCE2021 show in two weeks and you may admire it in person.

He provided a superb canvas for engraver Gil Rudolph to carry forward.

That polymer handle is something I have never even seen. WOW!

Swipe for MORE!

Forged_by: Robert Eggerling
Bolster: 416 stainless

Hey Jim, that Friedly is WAY BEYOND spectacular. Dennis is known for his art knives, but this time he even surpassed himself,

As did you with your photography!

More on DEFUNCT Fototime. Posted on another forum. Three pages of grousing!

Also: As of today, they have also deleted their outdated Facebook page. All very telling.

Hi Everybody,

I was referred to this site by a poster on Fototime's Facebook page. Several Fototime users landed there in search of an answer. I posted there as "Elaine-iaK Chocolat" and I will repeat the information I posted there.

This is the information I found in a Google search of the company;

Fototime was registered under:
Andrew Pitts
6711 Atlanta Dr.
Colleyville, TX 76034

Fototime's President:
Karl Swierenga
12660 Hillcrest Rd #4201
Dallas, TX 76230
Karl also owns KPS Solutions and Equitystat Solutions (I researched both companies and left messages wherever possible.)
A number I found for Karl is (214) 923-2806. I left a phone message; no response. I also located his personal FB page; no luck there.

Fototime's V.P.:
Jeff Kelling
3803 Cibola Trail
Carrollton, TX 75007

My frustration with Fototime going out of business (which I have assumed they have) is that I had built photo albums with detailed descriptions of my travels before blogs came along. I have hard copy backups of the photos as well as backing up my computer to Carbonite; however, I really enjoyed going back to Fototime to look through my albums and seeing the photo descriptions. I have done a ton of traveling, so friends and fellow travel club members would refer to my site as well.

FRUSTRATING!

Bastards. Really unfair from every standpoint. I don't care that I'm posting personal info publicly. They SCREWED us.

Texas 'Cattle Drive' Bowie! Jason @FryCustomKnives pays tribute to his home state with his impressive and historical Bowie.

@AliceCarterEngraver isn't limited to metal art--she REALLY recreated the scenes with her scrimshaw artistry.

Check out his feed for the IMPRESSIVE metal stand which also goes with this.

@3ArrowsForgeWoodshop 'Hunting Sword'! There are not enough of these in our world. Let's appreciate them when they appear!

What a massive undertaking. Even the sheath work is compelling!

That little forged leaf was included as an add on to his collector. This shows you the kind of make sure he is.

Everything works so well! Aaron Sybrant @NcCustomLeather stands proud with this combo!

Knife: Camp Knife
Material: 52100
Forged_by: Maker
Bolster: Integral
Handle: Amboyna Burl
Sheath: Aaron Sybrant
Knife Comments: This blade was one of 3 that I did on my one year anniversary of forging. The hand sanding isn't as perfect as I would like but I have injuries from the military that make a lot of hand sanding hard for me.
