Show us your Charlie Campagna SFOs

I wanted to try to obtain all Charlies HJ's- but to be honest- it's almost impossible- especially the early small numbered releases, but it is what it is, I'm pretty sure I would pounce off a two storied building to pick up that 54 Ebony early release that Charlie had along with the Stag!

There was a funny story to a time when I spied one of Charlies Stag 54's.

I know of one chap who has nearly them all and out of all the people I know he deserves every one of those Knives- he is an outstanding Gent.

In all honesty, when I look at my knives I am extremely grateful - yes more is always good but there will come a time in our lives as we prepare for our next journey that these knives will have to move on, so there is a sense of responsibility to ensure that whoever gets them- knows the story and continues to keep it alive and will be the next caretaker of the Knives. Pretty cool in a way.

What pattern is the punch blade on The Rider, it’s not a Robeson is it?
Bill and his son William created that punch!! All of my previous ones were representations of previously patented punches from the very early 20th century!!
"The Rider" punch was GEC's own 21st century creation, in 2016 for the Texas Camp Knife, and now for the 2023 "Rider!!"

Campbellclanman Campbellclanman Duncan at one time I also wanted to collect all of Charlies HJs and knew it wouldn't happen because there were to many single and low number HJs out there I'm very fortunate with the collection I have
About 2 1/2 years ago I let one of Charlie's 54 HJ Stag go to special member hint hint and informed him where to purchase because it was priced over my retired budget I'm very happy I did this for a special HJ collector

Well Frank kid Sir, I DO remember that and Thank you so much - after I spied it - after you were so kind enough to share your discovery, I contacted Charlie- to say " Hey.. Charlie check this out - and when I went back to grab it had gone!!!

But in those minutes in between me contacting Charlie - Charlie spied it and grabbed it lol, so he too kindly offered it- so I was kind of gifted the opportunity to buy this knife twice- pretty amazing and awesome story really how things work!

🙏

What up, baller?! That was super exciting to watch, thanks for the thrill!

Nice snag on a truly rare and fine knife, congrats.
I knew I was gonna have to pay out for that gem. It is the last of my GEC collection which stands at 13 not counting the recent Northwoods so I guess technically 14. I knew this was a rare one and the first batch Charlie did of WJ’s I think too so even better. Just glad it didn’t go up to the prices of the others currently available. Thank you.

It was a smart snag. When you see a fine collectable that you like, get it if you are able, is my advice.

I don't regret any of the knives in my collection, but I seem to remember all the ones I willingly passed on, and should have bought.

The good stuff will always be good, and Mr. Waynorth's knives are the good stuff.
