I have noticed that the inside curve of some of the punches on these #86s, have a bit of staining or scale!
It is hard to polish that inside curve!! Remington, Schrade and others seem to have emphasized that staining somehow, making it a feature!! That's all I got!!!

Dug out some ebony and Blackwood WC knives. Seems the blade stock is a wee bit stouter on the Rider vs the Blackjack

I saw talk of streaked ebony earlier. Some streaking still on the 14. The 85 was half brown when new, now it's black and blacker streaks. Time seems to darken all the ebonies and cocobolos.

Most of my Way north Cutlery harness jacks. Not sure I could pick a favourite, but the 15 sure is pocketable and a handy knife.

i was just about to ask! in college one semester, one of the foreign exchange students in my suite bought a violin off amazon and learned how to play in the summer. so as a graduation present i bought this little carbon fiber diddy for about $60 off amazon. totally didnt no got the way i thought. i just have to come to terms that im perhaps no great shakes at strings. wind however is my forte, harmonicas!
