It was a smart snag. When you see a fine collectable that you like, get it if you are able, is my advice.

I don't regret any of the knives in my collection, but I seem to remember all the ones I willingly passed on, and should have bought.

The good stuff will always be good, and Mr. Waynorth's knives are the good stuff.

Pure Black Ebony is beautiful, and color streaks show the life in the wood in a different way than the buttery glow of Blackness!! I can't decide which I like more!!?? :rolleyes:

it is such an interesting wood to work with as well. i remember when i was cutting into it with a drill bit and thought thats not what i imagined at all when I was cutting out the cross shapes on my 15.
 
What was it like, Jack?? We've all probably drilled/cut "ordinary" wood!! 😲
