Thanks! It takes some patience and elbow grease , it all started from a pesky scratch then thing went overboard quite fast. Not perfect-perfect but ill take it as is, hand rubbed and mirror-ish.

What did you use to polish?

I did by hand with 15/9/6/3 microns diamond lapping films. It is important that it must be diamond and not aluminum oxide as it will not work. AO seems to just skid on it. I, then, finished off with a 3 microns diamond compound. What is real hard, in all this process, is to prevent any further scratches from developing while polishing. When, you think you’re done then inevitably did a scratch and have to redo the process all over again. If you want to try be my guess . Took me a week or so (3-4 hours per day for a total 28-30 hours)


While it's not a perfect mirror since it has some micro scratches, it perfectly acceptable or else i wouldn’t be able to use it, the fear to scratch it, you know.
