What would be an optimal blade geometry for my sr 101 DT12 saw back wonderful edge on it but while I was playing around hit Little Rock’s in the soil an cough cough and I glanced it off a bolt holding some stuff together held up well just a little honing an all set but if I end up sharpening that freehand I may alter the geometry into a convex over time an wonder if a convex edge would end up being an issue with chopping or if I should make sure I keep proper edge geometry for optimal blade performance in the woods?
Just looked at the nut I accidentally hit hmmmm the blade held up better then I thought I didn’t think I made direct contact like that lol gives me lots more confidence
