Agreed. Have thought that. Of course, the mid tech scales are equivalent to a lot of other makers ‘fancy’ scales, in terms of quality so it’s all relative

I plan on beating the crap out of it, but want to do so with style :)

I'm still trying to downsize my number of knives, but that black ash burl was too good to resist.

I know right? I've decided I'm not a 5/32 guy but those pinstripes and the sick taper almost make up for it. I won't be sad if nobody takes it and it just hahad to stay.

Did Dylan Fletcher make many knives in thin stock? (Less than 1/8”)

Ive never had a Fletcher and would love to get my hands on one sometime. Only mentioning that here because his forum doesn’t seem to get much traffic anymore...

Thanks to @Warrior108 I should have my first esquire this week. Can’t wait to see it as I’ve been after one of these for a while.

Congrats @schmittie and sorry I couldn't help. I'm down to the two I plan on keeping. Nice job @Warrior108 for hooking a brother up!

You are correct @Warrior108. I wanted to give a Woodsman a try, but the shape and feel just aren't what I was looking for. One of those things you know as soon as you pick it up. Hence, moving it on before I'm tempted to take it out and use it.
