All things considered ie. duplicate shipment on the eBay order and LLBean discounts and Bean Bucks my average cost for 3 105 is $29. and change each. All brand new. I have no way to contact the eBay seller, they were removed as an eBay member shortly after I placed the order for whatever reason. I thought I would never get the knife which prompted me to LLBeanSomeone got a heck of a deal. Hope it was someone from the forum.
Omg! That was cheap! This is the one I saw. View attachment 1470474
Both of those vintage knives look to be the 118 Personal. OH
Excellent choice and welcome to the club!Hi
I wish to seek membership in your club. The picture is of my new 105, after cutting up some "Falukorv", aka sausage from Falun, in the northern Swedish woods. I gave my friend a 119 and wanted something similar for myself. I am glad I choose the 105 for myself.
Regards
Erik

Got room for another member? Just received mine today in replacement for the one I had as a kid, which got lost deer hunting back in the 90's.
Plain black handle and except for the sheath design, it's everything I remembered!
Welcome Buck311! There's always room for another member. You didn't lose your knife, you gifted it to the lucky person who hopefully found it. Oh, and it's not a plain black handle. It's a durable, weather resistant, ultra cool, classic black handle. Thanks for posting!
I've got an older 105 tucked away - do I need to post a pic to join in the fun?
I took this photo a few years ago and found it again in my Imgur account. It's of my 105 and a book -- both gifts from my father in the mid 70s. The old photograph is from our first trip hunting down ghost towns in Colorado in 1978 -- the adventure of a lifetime to a 17 year-old kid. The 105 is on my belt in the photograph. I'm feeling a little nostalgic tonight, so I thought I would post it.
