The Pathfinder Club - Members Only!

And the shirt would read..

Buck 105 Pathfinder
"Finding Paths Since 1961"

or whenever it was introduced. When was it introduced?

Both, I think. The old catalogs are hard to read. I was just looking for the model# mainly... If you're a BCCI member look it up and see...

I'm not a BCCI member. Guess I'll need to rely on someone who is a member to look it up. ;)

E-membership is like 10-15$...The benefits are great...

They also call it the "All Purpose Knife" in the 1948 catalog....I'd love to have the kitchen set, it's cool...

Not sure when the phenolic handle came out . Looks like they were calling it a pathfinder in 56 with ebony wood handle .

Okay, so this leads to our first club vote. If we were create a slogan for the Pathfinder and wanted to use a start date and an image of the knife, which date and image would you choose?

A) 1948 - 105 "All Purpose Knife" with Lucite handle
B) 1956 - 105 "Pathfinder" with ebony wood handle
C) 1961 - 105 "Pathfinder" with Phenolic handle, as we know it today and is easily recognized

Please vote everyone! :)

I would go with A put a picture of a 1948 pathfinder on the front of my shirt. Then a modern day 105 on the back

Here’s what I believe to be a one off special order 104 fighter from the 50s. It’s basically a long version of a 105. I would say 95% of the 104s were long 120s. This was made for a colonel with ebony handle.

I want my members only jacket.
