Ive got a love/hate relationship with this Eagletac Dx3r...
The magnetic tailcap is hands down the best. It'll hang off if the tip of roofing nails in an attic, i also tied a piece of mule tape to it and threw it down a 3 inch pvc sweep to fish out a linemans it pulled it out without complaining.
The size is perfect and takes rechargable batteries.
Amazing output for a neutral white (favortie tint is nichia 4000k even though less lumens)
But that side switch....why a side switch...itll end up on in my pocket more times than not and the battery drains with it off. So to circumvent that if I twist the tail cap a tiny bit it wont come on but have to twist it then press the side switch. If it was a fully twisty itd be perfect could probably be thinner then as well.
But its my go to....
I sent in a request to eagletac just before covid they said to send it in to china but i held off probably wouldnt have ever seen it again.
