Hospital duty again today. There’s a blood clot in his leg. I’m totin this buttery smooth Ebony Churchhill as a worry stone.

You are a good brother-in-law, Ron. I admit being a bit squeamish when you said that you were carrying a sharp blade to visit him yesterday for kidney stones. I hope that carry and today's are for moral support and not "a little helpful cuttin' to help things along".

High Carbon four blade cattle and ten dot slimline trapper

Nice selection, Jeff.

A handsome old fella, Gev.

I. too, am totin' an old throwback this Thursday: Case 51 trapper from 1905-1920.

Back to the ironwood 77 Barlow this week. I wasn't liking the rather chunky patina on the clip blade, so I gave it a quick rub down with some Simichrome polish, and will restart the patina process once again.

And a picture of my daughter and I 'trick or treating' last night.

Great Barlow, Steve!
Sears/Craftsman sure carried some good knives over the years. The High Carbon brand, one of which I’m carrying today, was a pre-Craftsman Sears line. Pretty sure mine was made by Camillus. Wish it was as virginal as yours!
