This one was calling to me today.
Today with two beautiful stag and stainless steel knives!
Good timing today, 8ot on the way. How is schrades stainless? Similar to GEC or case? Nothing to write home about?
Thank you, Gary!
I started the day with a Victorinox Farmer, at my daughters advice. Ironically I found this Land Cruiser for sale. My dream vehicle but a bit pricey.
After lunch I switched to this 881 Schrade.
r8shell - Thank you for getting me straightened out with the dating. Old age, fatigue and diminished brain function seem to go together lately.
Classic, no frills, hard working and durable delrin handled tool.
Nice knives, nice woods too but I really like the Irish Penny I always carry one of their old nickle Threepenny bits with a Hare on it, a beautiful series of coins in their old pre 1971 money that had other animals, Horse, Salmon, Greyhound.
Beautiful Small there
Most impressed by your Scrim, I'll be sending in a batch of knives for improvements
Still carrying my lucky trio.
Thanks! I'll have to keep an eye out for them.
This one is so nice I immediately had to order a backup!
Very nice r8shell! You obviously have a talent for this!
May God bless you and your family Jeff!
Gary you should read your emails before deleting them!
We’re back home from our trip so I’ve switched to a 1974 Case 6207 Red Bone Jack and one of my favorite TC Barlow’s for the rest of the evening!
Crown Cutlery of NYC ...it’s my best cutter, gets crazy sharp and snaps like bear trap though it’s almost 100 years old
That is a picture of a much better man than I, my friend.
My son, who we lost July 25,2017 to injuries received in combat in Afghanistan. He enlisted in the Illinois Army National Guard knowing he was 100% guaranteed deployment to the war.
He was our oldest of three, and left us many good memories, much to be proud of, and two wonderful granddaughters. And Manny, my dog!
Yep, I love the Winchesters, they are solid knives. I’ve had a couple that came with too thick an edge, but they thin right out on the diamond stones and are cutters for sure!
Today's carry, I have carried it a lot this week. Really digging it.
@Half/Stop ~ Oh he most certainly has, Ron! Must never forget that!
