Thank you very much John, it's good to see that one again GEC never seem to have any trouble getting nice, dark Ebony or African BlackwoodGoing with an old favorite today, I'll just be staying home today and it will be keeping me company.
I don't know my friend, it's certainly a very long traditionI wonder if it's due to England's great history with the High Seas? They are awesome for knots on both land and sea!
Many thanks JJ, made a nice changeYour Higonakami looks like a folding razor, quite a sharp partner for your Hartshead beauty!
I really enjoyed it as a teenager, not sure I have the eyesight for it now!I should learn how to tie my own flies some day... I keep telling myself that.
Those are soo niceAnother one I picked up in Titusville last weekend.
I know you would, Jon, but I have more wood than time!Noted!
I have failed at “Safe Queening” a couple of times. I don’t try it anymore. But this bullnose is certainly destined for a life of hard work and honest patina. I’ll keep it relatively nice because it’s destined to be passed down to my boy Sam. He already has his eye on it. I call him my “Bull”, so he’s already claimed it!
I wish I had more of that spalted oak or I’d send you a hunk. I used it up on all kinds of projects. Amazing when you find a log that has started to rot perfectly but is still solid. Nature blows my mind.
My three Georgia peaches are here for a couple of weeks~ fun!Grandkids are here today. I'll sleep well tonight!
Boker on call for opening snack packs and other grandfatherly tasks.

Couple of beauties there Pt!
The glasses I wear when I’m tying are 3X, when I look away from the vice I can’t see anything!I'd need a ridiculously big magnifier.
That’s a really nice looking barlow Dean!
LOL! Well, that explains it!Thanks, Jack.
The Ebony is actually a re-cover by Glenn.
I'd need a ridiculously big magnifier.
Two beauties JJ, and they go together perfectly
Very nice Dean
That's one heck of a knife!I couldn't not carry this one today.
I enjoy fly fishing but did not get into tying my own flies. Hope you catch your limit. Awesome knives
