My least implausible theory is that minor celluloid damage was mostly absorbed by the paper labels under the clear covers.

The one I have already, before I popped off the celluloid.

Nice get, love that bone. I can't get an Angus Sheepsfoot, so just ordered a Sheepsfoot with Walnut covers that i have had my eye on. Now comes the wait.

One thing about Case, they do fantastic bone and jigging, yours is no exception.

I bought an old black Kutmaster Barlow for under $10 delivered. I couldn't leave a fellow Utican languishing at that price. Also, I think it's only my second Barlow with a sheepsfoot main.
Again I can't work the picture.

Going to try a Marbles black stag bone Cattleman. If it's as good as the Rough Ryders it should be a keeper despite its size. The large clip point looks excellent.
