Got blue anodized screws incoming too.

The other 940 is back in green at the moment but
I'll swith it out for the 943, I just don't feel the cf scales at all so I might sell them sometime and get some flytanium on the last 940 instead.

Well? What do you think? Saw you said you had a CLA. CLA was my first Benchmade, I have a "few" now and I think the 940 is my all around favorite. Really a nice well balanced all around EDC. I have a few different Benchmade scales, a G10 Putnam and a twill DOAT for the 940/943s, too - aluminum, G10, CF, and the 940-1 is the one to beat, no doubt. "If I could only have one Benchmade" think it'd be a 940-1.

Same 940-2 just have some silver tweed scales. I believe they are DOAT but to be honest not totally sure . Picked them up second hand. I do know they are very nice. Need a 943 to put the titanium scales on.

Did you modify the finish on the scales at all? Or is the wear on them entirely from use and carry? Looks great.

The previous owner did the weathering for a photo prop. I have since added my own wear from real use as this one gets used daily.
