Camillus and Schrade of Old Given Short Shrift Now-A-Days

Bruce, that's a nice one, made just a few years before my 832. Mine also has that same very minute swedge on the spey, barely noticeable in my second pic.
Thanks Jeff. I hadn't noticed the very slight swedge, but it is there. Today I'm carrying this Uncle Henry 897, same knife but later and different branding, no slight swedge on any of the blades. That is a detail I had never noticed before. OH

Spent an enjoyable hour catching up on one of the best BF threads in existence last evening. You guys sure have some fine Schrades and Camilluses.
Bruce, Old Hunter Old Hunter , I was just wondering about you the other day, only to find you posting in this thread. Shoulda known!

I’m carrying the fine 77 you gave me.659AC86E-81DD-4C4D-A0CA-577602FACC23.jpegAnd Bob, Rufus1949 Rufus1949 gave me this nice little 766, which according to AAPK, was called a Wharncliffe Pattern. Glenbad re-did it in stag.5AEB99DF-4321-435F-9632-A77E06C4291E.jpeg

Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund good to see you and hear from you Jeff, and glad you are still enjoying the Muskrat. I know you post most often in "What Traditional Knife are ya toting today?" thread but that one simply moves too fast for me and I cannot do it justice and read/look over all the posts. I regularly enjoy and participate in several threads in the Traditional Forum and in the Buck Forum and can keep up with the threads. Still love it here on the Porch and with the Buck guys as well. OH
Ps good looking vintage Schrade Old Timer in your picture!

Another Craftsman that was built by Schrade USA for today's carry. ACA 95024 Gentleman's Jack. OH

I really love the shield on this one, that is flat out gorgeous for sure. This entire thread has had some tremendos pictures shared, not the least of which have been yours. Just something of a gentler era in this knife.

Thank you on both accounts. I agree with you on the shield, it is a 3D shield and feels good when fingering the knife. I have never accounted for the variations and patterns in the ACA series, but simply pursuing them would make for a nice collection. OH

This is very Cool Cal, I picked up a Craftsman ACA Sheath Knife that has the same rare Sheath, The Blade is very full - but Carbon stained in areas - all in all a nice package but far from Mint that's for sure.
Blade is Etched CRAFTSMAN and ACA EDGE below.
I loved the set you shared of those stunning Brand New condition / Mint Sheath Knives a while ago!
