My main carry gun in the woods is a 2 3/4” mod 629. It is just the right size in a chest rig to stay out of the way doing chores or fishing. It definitely lets you know when it goes off though.
I’ve shot 10mm factory loads and even some custom hot loads, but never the Underwoods. The 255 Underwood HC are the most accurate loads out of my G21. They have quite the recoil and are exoensive. I have faith that they will penetrate deep enough to put down hogs though.91bravo Have you shot a Glock 10mm with Underwood’s HC loads?
Just wondering if you have can you compare the recoil difference between them. I’ve got lots of .45s but never thought to run the Glock .45 with heavy for bear loads. Always just went for my 10mm’s.
I may get a chest rig for my G21 and carry it at Glacier this year. Of course after I practiced with it a lot this summer.
