I'm back over at the shop today ploughing out and splining the vertical cedar siding K and I removed from my client's house last weekend. These boards were notched around the windows we're replacing, everything has to match, and saving these six, those above and below, plus the battens is worth it compared to an additional 6 or 7 grand to reside the front of the kitchen/parlor wing.
I went back to a big 'un today with the Crooked River.
Even a big knife cuts fine and small if it's sharp.
Amazingly the action was good out of box but wow has it got even better . Makes those nice solid clicks that we all love when opening and closing. Of course blade drops free when releasing the compression lock and no blade play in any direction and never touched or needed to adjust the pivot. This just might be my all around favorite Spydie and I’ve had a lot
Went to look at a couple of jobs today. Didn’t figure on doing much, if any, cutting. But you never know. Wanted something lightweight but capable if needed.

I have liked pocket sized fixed blades for a long time. This is my first Candiru, my second ESEE and my first try at 360-wrapping. Some mistakes, but it will do.
