My first automatic. Kershaw Launch 8. Very impressed. I'm 50% Italian, but with this I feel 100%. I'm Sicilian, my great-grandfather had mafia toes, do I feel like I'm continuing tradition... Really well built, super sharp, opens with authority but not so much it wants to pull out of your hand. One of the lightest knives I own. I don't like assisted knives, but this very different. I probably won't be in my rotation much until I can get a deep carry clip.
What are "mafia toes"? Ties I'm guessing?
Cool Kershaw.
I actually thought it might be a thing. HahaYes-- I corrected it.
I don't really want to risk returning this one and getting one where I don't like the inlay as much. I think I can live with the green. Thoughts?
I can see where orange liners would look really sweet on the blade, but it's a great looking knife and the green is nice. Got a pic of the spine?
Last three, completing the fishing collection until the Chief Salt version comes out

S125V? Awesome.I can see where orange liners would look really sweet on the blade, but it's a great looking knife and the green is nice. Got a pic of the spine?
Here's my latest that I've been splashing pics of all over BF--Andrey Biryukov Sigma with 4 1/8" of S125V orange-peel finished steel, ceramic bearings in brass races over steel underlay washers, rolling ceramic detent ball, and seriously milled out interior pockets. Wicked smooth and easy flipper that I haven't been able to put aside since I got it.

Yeah, that's the first one for me that high on the CPM S series scale. I'm sure it'll hold the edge, but am wondering how it'll be sharpening. I wasn't much of a fan of the BMK S90V I had, as I found it kinda brittle and chippy, but the S90V in my KW exclusive Millie I like a lot. I had a hard time sharpening the one I got for my son, but he dulled the living sh*t out of his and I had to take it back pretty far to get to an apex.S125V? Awesome.
