Good Morning to Everyone. It's been quite a while since I've posted and there is no way I can catch up.
Decided to watch the sunrise this morning since I haven't done so in a very long time.
Hope everyone has a great day and weekend.
Later,
OG

Good Sunday morning Guardians!
Thanks for all the previous comments. :thumbsup: I hope to get back around to reply to them this afternoon.

More walking sticks and Ebony Lambfoot.
The sticks are Diamond willow (3) and Bamboo (1). My Grandad used to love carving and whittling on them. He worked on the one with the leather handle and I finished it many years ago, after he passed. The others were acquired more recently and worked on by me and my 2 sons. Also have a lamp he made out of a chunk of it.

Very nice selection, Jack!:eek::thumbsup: As a "forced" collector now, I appreciate them now. I keep one in the car, one in the truck, and a couple in the house. Need to get a couple more wooden ones, and use the metal folders as backup.

Hope you are recovering well!:):thumbsup:
I’m devoting well over two hours a day to the forum. Usually at least an hour in the mornings including taking my photos for the day if required and more time throughout the day. Of course, I choose to do this and I do enjoy the time. I will say that if I wasn’t retired I couldn’t do it. ;)

For Wooden Wednesday......... :thumbsup:

Good morning, Guardians! Jelly is making a Lambsfoot believer of me! Such a great blade profile, makes a great slicer, great control with the pointy, narrow tip. And good looks to boot!

Thanks a lot pal :) Yes, Barry has a great talent, he must have been up all night sewing those caps ;) He very kindly sent me one just like Charlie's :) Sounds like you're keeping busy yourself though! :D Posting here is the highlight of my day :) Excellent pic of your lovely ebony WCLF :thumbsup:
Thanks Jack! I do stay busy, some days more so than others! I really do enjoy BladeForums and all the great folks here! :D :thumbsup:

Pleasant surprise in the mailbox after work today - L'il one in rosewood. The swayback has arrived :D

It's been a couple of years since my last Lambsfoot, and I have to say, this one is really well done. A good flushing and a little work on the edge, and it's good to go. Snappy little bugger! The pull is around an 8, but I think it'll break in nicely. Now I need a Big 'un :)

Wow! Congratulations! It looks great! I don't recall having seen a rosewood l'il one before, but I like it. :) :thumbsup:

Between your new one and the horn one that @Modoc ED has been showing, I'll have to be careful to not end up "needing" a l'il one of my own. ;)

Very clever. :cool::thumbsup:
Very cool Greg :) :thumbsup:
:D
Cleverly Cool Content, Greg!:cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, guys! Just a little brainstorm while I was walking my dog. He should probably get paid for all of the ideas that come to me while we are strolling. :)

I saw a nice Coachman's Knife with a Lambsfoot blade the other week, would that be a pattern to re-create? :) How about this knife from a 1907 Army & Navy catalogue? :thumbsup:

My, there're a lot of thingies on that thing. ;)

“To Market, to market.” In style with your Hartshead Barlow. Have fun. Thank you Jack. The Lambsfoot knife commemorating the First Columbia Mission(STS-1), is out of this world.

Impressive flock photo, José! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: Decades ago, there was an American TV show called "Eight Is Enough". Do you think that title applies to your lambsfoot collection? :D

Thanks so much Gary, don't even think, I want to increase my herd!;):thumbsup:
