INFI CrabManDu Custom Grab Bag!!!!. . . Wednesday March 4, 2020 at 9:00pm Eastern

Slight delay on mine - I'll get pictures in the morning when I get home. (I haven't even seen them, yet; so the anticipation is building)

Hope you get to go home to some beauties of your own! Do share when you get a chance!!

Would love to see what everyone else got too!

Here's mine! Really happy with it - really nice burl, some kind of micarta and yellow liners. One of the coolest things about it is the hollow, translucent pins. I tried to capture it but it looks even better in person. Really nice feature.

Not home, yet; so no pictures...
But neither of mine is g-rex'd, and I didn't get the mocha swirl; so I'm putting this down as a win. One wood, one end cut(?) pine cone

The end cut (?) pine cone is really sweet. Pretty unique configuration. Congrats!

These Crabmandu's are absolutely unreal, I have not seen so many stunning Custom Shop pieces together in one offering before! Would it be possible for people to post what bag each of these came out of? I suspect many of these were from Group A!

Thanks! I had to ask G man what it was- he called it dyed ivory mosaic - It's absolutely sick! Got my fav copper/SS pins - I couldn't be happier! Spot on with the Tiffany too!!! .... I haven't seen a one I wouldn't be totally happy with. Lot of pretty stuff and it's only the beginning.

Respectfully, the second is a short axis cut of milkweed pods, I believe. The team seems to have left the downy seeds intact in the resin! Fantastic! Great score!

Here’s a shot of the NFNO (right, from the last grab bag) xmas gift to my wife for her huge gardening hobby. Hers does not have the actual seeds if you look closely. Also, another layer of meaningfulness to these resin slabs is how we protect and rear little monarch butterfly caterpillars in the greenhouse to avoid predation as they only lay eggs on milkweed and are having a tough time of decline in North America. Beautiful lessons for our little girl! ..... clad in matching AZWelke goodness, with Papa’s Fat ASH-1 keeping it company on its recent trip to AZ : )

Thank you! I appreciate the information. (I knew it didn't look like pinecone; but was at a loss. I'll amend my previous post. ) Would be nice if they identified the scale materials... maybe on the reverse of the handle tag.

This one looks familiar...

Looks like I scored A2 from the sample pic! Based on the previous posts, Mammoth... molar?

Can't say I'm unhappy! :D

Group A1, A2 and I think even A4 are mammoth (tusk for A1 and A4 and molar for A2 -- I think). B1 is some sort of micarta it looks like. So I'm thinking it's that the A materials are more expensive. With that said I'm not sure why A3 is more expensive, maybe some sort of special wood.

Look at the price of the FHFG infi RMD with "lightning strike" micarta in comparison to plain micarta (with same blade finish). I'm not sure what A4 is (other than g-rexed, which is a custom shop/crab shack feature that increases the price), but it looks like it suffered a lightning strike in addition to the hammered looking finish (both of which increased the price some more, hence Group A). A1 & A2 are mammoth, which is $$$. A3 is wood, arguably more desirable than that shown on B4...but it also suffered a lightning strike, bumping the price.

Ya know, I was kinda sorta hoping maybe some kind of mammoth since I don't have any, but I don't always jump over all of them, just depends on the config and aesthetics - but as it stands, I'm digging hhmoore's milkpod (if that's what it is) It looks like snow and ice crystals? that was my first impression - IDK, that one just hits me a certain way - but man, they are all sweet AF. Can't wait to see more! I like seeing everyone else's stuff just as much if not more than opening my own because hey, these are all one-of-a-kinds so it's really cool knowing everyone is all grins, or at least hoping for it. These are rare opportunities to enjoy holding them and seeing more knife porn -:thumbsup::thumbsup:
