 Speaking of seax, I'd love to see a modern Scottish Dirk as well! I'm kilted often and would LOVE to carry a modern Busse dirk. A good Busse sgian dubh would pair nicely as well! OAL of ~7", 3-3.5" blade, thin black g-10 scales on each side... Now I'm drooling! :p:D

Never thought of the dirk my apoligies .not to leave out my neighbours across the water .
Another design for the autocad boys to rip their hair out over would be a busse khopesh hahaha that would be truly scary-awesome.
Or cinquedea.or perharps a small arming sword now any of these would be grail worthy

Busse Dirk and matching Sgian Dubh will be epic. I would buy a few sets.

PLEASE make this happen, Boss!

Something small 3.5" - 5" blade. I can't edc anything bigger. Especially on job sites haha. I really think smaller Busse blades are underrated...

Seriously good idea! I have traditional stuff I wear in kilt but I’d totally change it up sometimes for a Busse combo!

Perhaps it could be handled in wood so I could carve it myself even. Carved my own Sgian!

Ya know, a traditional Sgian Dubh has about 3.25-3.5" blade, OAL around 7". A great EDC size!

I have one traditional-looking Sgian Dubh that I wore at our wedding (crap stainless, won't hold an edge, basically a letter opener, more ornamental than anything), a Sgian Brew (for occasions where I cannot/shouldn't carry a live blade but can drink), but most of the time, I'm carrying one of my two Arno Bernards that are just small knives that fit in my hose (one casual, one dressy).

But if I can rock a dedicated BUSSE sgian dubh, oh my goodness, not only will it be my new standard for kilting, but I'll likely EDC it as well.
