Practical Swords

I have been looking at the zombie tools one. I just bought some other knife stuff so ZT is going to have to wait.

However, I am interested in seeing your impressions. I can't seem to find a lot of first hand experience with them.
Well, I received my Hellion sword.
First impressions: rugged, strong, it could make a nice chopper. Kydex sheat, it doesn't have any means to attach to a belt, etc. Looking forward to do some field testing.

Have you considered a messer? A sword of this type would likely meet your criteria.

A couple of videos demonstrating messer technique:

That's badass, love it. Where can one get a messer ?

Albion makes two grosse messers and a kriegsmesser. Cold steel also makes a kriegsmesser. Don't know who else makes one.

Thanks people. There's something about the look, fighting style, and background of those messers (one hand and two hand) that really grabs me.
Need to find a place to get trained with one in the Seattle area, ha ha.
