I thought of a joke. It's pretty dumb...

Did you hear about the native American who tried to subsist on nothing but drinking water and eating tea leaves?

... He died and pissed himself and was found dead, laying in his teepee.

You know how customer service seems like it's not really a thing anymore? Especially when the company is huge. I emailed the U.S. branch of a multinational company this evening and had a response within five minutes (not an auto generated one; a real human one). I thanked him and said "that was an insanely fast response," he came back thirty minutes later and said "You're welcome and I tried to wait a more reasonable amount of time to reply this time." Real customer service AND some humor?! Who do they think they are?! CPK?

Been working on our kitchen this week. My wife really wanted a new kitchen before our baby girl arrives. Like, she had her heart set on it. We got quotes from various contractors that ranged from $60,000(!) to $15,000. I decided to get some cabinet doors, vinyl flooring, and paint to do it myself. It’s coming along, I think. Going to lay the liner and hopefully put the new doors on today. It’s not too fun but it’s not actually as bad as I thought it would be. It’s almost as if 3/4 of the work has been in planning and preparation. The sanding and painting doesn’t take all that long. One side of the kitchen:

nice job

Nathan may have confused the 2 preorders WRT answering TR's question but those of us who loaded up our UF2/DEF2 preorders do not expect to see ours in less than 18 months. I think that the UF2 preorder started in May 2021 so by the time Jo wrapped everything up was just before or after Blade 2021. Folks are receiving their straightforward preorders already and these have been running in Fridays sales since, what, November 2021? Nathan had stated 12 month so most who did not complicate their preorders should have theirs before or after next Blade Show. Mine will be among the very last ones, alumina alloy, trailer park trash cardboard handles, boogers et al!

Well birthday is closing in

Had a 20 minute argument with my wife about the age I was turning ( of course I was wrong....I thought I was going to be a year older than I actually am lol)

Once again I realize I'm turning into a real life mixture of Homer Simpson and Al Bundy but a knife nut lol

Regardless...... I go to a freaking beer hotel Monday ... F YES!
