I agree! This could be the knife if the year. I really want to get it before Christmas. If so, I plan to put the bacon wrapped box under the tree and not open till Christmas morning. Oh the excitement! I would feel like a kid again!

Basically, yes. You can contact the shop and get on the list in case there are any cancellations, and once they start shipping, you'll be able to find them on the Exchange (almost certainly for less than eBay). But for a regular order, you're about a month and a half too late.

In this configuration? Not likely. Rarely see a Nuked Competition Finish offered. Deep Dish style, at that.

There are a lot a variants of the Team Gemini out there, but per the Boss Hog himself:

Call or email the Busse shop and ask to be put on the wait list for canceled orders. Also, watch the exchange like a hawk after they ship, there’s always one or two at least that get posted right away.

There is a possibility that this will be sold on the Busse website as a regular offering, but only Busse will be able to advise on this.

    TGULB Specs:
    Overall Length: Approx. = 13.25"
    Blade Length: 7 3/4"
    Thickness: Approx. = .200"
    Bevel: Hollow
    Steel: INFI
    Hardness: 58 - 60 RC
Blade Finish: Coated, BIG DC, and Competition. (Some light machining marks may be visible on both the BIG DC and Competition Finishes)

    VS

    INFImandu FHFG Specs:
    OAL: Approx. 10 1/4"
    Blade Length: Approx. 5 1/4"
    Thickness: Approx. 3/16"
    Steel: INFI
    Hardness: 58-60 Rc
    Bevel: Full-Height Flat Ground
Blade Finish: Hand Applied Satin, BIG DC, Coated
Handles: Micarta and G-10 (See Options Below)

They appear fairly similar on paper, though I’m sure they’ll feel completely different in hand.
