The half cent is a great little coin and yours is in very fine condition especially considering its age. The two Indian Heads are 50 year bookends, very cool.

I like these 4 Dinar coins from the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. They show nicely how complicated and disfunctional this country was and they somewhat reflect its shifting political trend. You see how 2 coins feature King Alexander I, but one (1925) has writing in Cyrillic that names him as King of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (the latter two didn't/don't even use Cyrillic) and the other (1931) has Latin writing that names him as King of Yugoslavia as the country got meanwhile renamed. The next two coins show Alexander's son King Peter II, who was a minor at the time these coins were struck (1938) - the father, King Alexander got assassinated in France, so a regency had to rule the country until a British sponsored coup in 1941 that declared the still minor King of age and caused Hitler and his allies to attack Yugoslavia, which until then was spared the agony of ww2. The bottom left coin is interesting as it has "Dinara" written in Latin but the King's name in title on the other side is in Cyrillic. The bottom right coin has both sides in Cyrillic and is a weird standard of .750 silver. I wonder why the depictions of the two Kings face different directions?
