The white one is Laguiole Sport, right?
I have the same with Aubrac Cow bone handle, but mine has guilloche all over the blade
1) Yes. He will probably appreciate.Hey there! I would like to know your opinion. My son is turning 18 in a few days and as part of his gift I decided to give him a Laguiole with diamond engraving. (1) Do you think modern teenagers would appreciate such a gift? Or am I too old and (2) should I play bingo and sit on a bench in the park?
Laguiole as present for my son
Oh, if he wanted a bike.. i would be happy. He wants a car! For this birthday, in addition to the knife, i am giving him a new iPhone, a few other things he has dreamed of, and a banquet at a restaurant where he has invited 20 of his friends. I think that for an 18th birthday it's quite decent. So, little ones are little problems, big kids are big problems. I’m kidding.1) Yes. He will probably appreciate.
I know my nephew appreciated the knives I've given him (with his parent's O.K.) when he was 6, and when he graduated High School at age 11.
2) ONLY if that is what you want to do.
(Personally, I think riding a bicycle around the country would be more fun. And, itted be better for your health ... unless the Roo's or bunny's attack.)

I understand they are not 18 yet, but have you already prepared in advance? RespectFor what it’s worth, I’ve got each of my sons a FP laguiole with their initials engraved on the spring to gift them when the each turn 18
By the way, do you want to show us these gifts? I promise we won't tell anyoneFor what it’s worth, I’ve got each of my sons a FP laguiole with their initials engraved on the spring to gift them when the each turn 18
That's pretty cool, man! You have 4 sons? I think I'll take that into account. What wood are the scales from?

10.5cm closed, so a smidge over 4".Very nice! And they each get a different filework. What size are these?
