What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Great pic, Alan! I had to carry mine after seeing it. Sometimes my memory needs a jog.
How many stag did they make? 100, 200?

Not sure Gary. I'll check later.

I watched the movie, Hugo, last night (the movie is set in 1931); about 5 minutes into the movie a Barlow appeared. So, I decided to carry my own I*XL Barlow today.

Your Case Chestnut peanut is a gem, Gary!

Lovely barlow! The warm color of the bone is just soothing.

Same as yesterday.

Thank you! I love the jigging on yours!

Dean, I'm not sure that it is a Case, but, at 4.25", it is too large to be a Western or KaBar, which also made knives for L.L. Bean, but were 5". Its size would fit into Case's 093, 094, and 0094 patterns, though most of them had the rounded hook sharpener and I haven't seen any Cases with the old style liner lock that mine has. I have two of them and this one is the user. Easy to sharpen, good cap lifter, solid lock. I prefer fixed blade knives for fishing, but this one and the Zebco 33 were perfect for pond fishing on the spur of the moment.

Thank you. Stuart for the info on your toothpick/fisherman's knife. It's a beauty whoever made it!

Magnificent! That is what all Blood Red strives to be!

Thank you!

Molly's Game

The bone on that Catt is superb, Gev!:thumbsup:

Thank you, Jack! It was carried by an eleven year old Parisian boy in the movie.

Who's the maker of your bailed jackknife? The bone has a neat color to it.

That's pretty cool :) It's a 4-line Camillus very kindly gifted to me by Mr @paulhilborn :)

Today's carry: Case teardrop in curly maple photographed on a new repair to a small bridge over a stream in a local wooded area. Kind of dim with all the trees.

I love the covers on that knife Dean :)
