For my EDC purposes, I haven't found anything better than an ESEE Candiru carried horizontally at 11:00 on my belt in a kydex sheath with a single pull-the-dot strap. I don't tuck my shirts. I also usually carry a traditional folder in a pocket slip in my front pocket.
