One of my two has fairly bland covers, but the F&F is good.

The other has more interesting covers that don't quite match (but I think they look good) and they're cut pretty thin at one end. There are gaps between the cover and liner and liner and backspring. Overall not great F&F.

Mine has mismatched scales but I love it, one side is an even light brown and the other is variegated light and dark. Thanks Mike, BladeForums and Viper for an awesome knife and for all the effort to bring it to fruition.

Sorry to see that, I don't know what the remedy is, maybe you could fill that gap with an epoxy, it looks great except for that gap.

Horn can be bent under heat. If he wants to send it back I can attempt to fix it. I have no replacements and the factory has no more (nor will it probably ever be made again).

I’d keep the darker of the 2, easy choice.

Sorry to see that, I don't know what the remedy is, maybe you could fill that gap with an epoxy, it looks great except for that gap.

Don’t know that it’s smart to epoxy it to the frame, making the knife non “take-apartable” ( a term I just learned this evening credit @r8shell ) but one could build up the back with epoxy, sand flat, voila

I would soak it in 3 fingers of rye once a day for 3 weeks for 1 minute then drink the rye, and if that didn’t work, I would soak it once a day for a month.

I'd keep the lighter one for its consistency. Heck its gorgeous

I think these two (maybe one or two others) are the only ones I’ve seen with the curves going in this direction.

Mine has the odd grain curve on the pile side, I'm really happy with the color and texture so that doesn't bother me really

Maybe a small clamp on the end and carefully run a hair dryer over it to warm it up like Mike suggested. The horn is beautiful.
