I've been thinking about Nuclear option + Maroon handle + Hammered silver

But I have no idea if that will look good or not because I cannot find any examples out there. Wish there was a visual list of all the possible combinations we could pick from.

The picture thread that's a sticky (top of busse forum) has a lot of options to look through. The blade and handle finishes shown on the website leaves a lot to be desired but the picture thread was helpful for me today going through the same considerations. Can't decide if I want to pony up for orange/black G10 because it looks so nice but I do like micarta in use and I'm going to use this if I get it.

Most hogs know what all combos look like just from experience. Hammered silver is ok on a chopper but with this blade I’d go with black or camo, but really, I’d recommend the comp finish nuke with hand shaped scales as the pick of the litter.
 
Nuklear, competition finish with no logo please.

Find some more of the cool blow hole linen micarta for my handle also, please.

I use all of mine but based on the exchange there are a lot that don't get used, which is fine too because they look nice. I can't not use it because I like to see how they act in use which is like another art form that tickles my kinesthetic senses so much nicer.
 
How long do I have to push refresh on the busse page to get this ordered? Do they launch at a certain time? I've never ordered one that wasn't up for a long time (only ordered RMD straight from the boss).

I thought it was last night too, wasnt til about 9:30 that I realized it was tuesday.
 
I have alot of non users... buy 1 to use and one to ooh and ahh over :rolleyes:. The FMV8 for example, haven't had the urge to stab anything yet :confused:
 
Literally tried all handles except green n black "well, and maroon" so finally I'll take 1 comp nuked with black n green....possibly hand smoothed please :thumbsup:
 
I think I'm going orange handle, black blade or maroon and comp finish. I'll likely strip the black if I get the orange handle anyway but we'll see. I'm a slut for a clip point and wish I would've been able to get the forsaken mistress, though this is right up my alley of a knife to do everything. It's going to give the ratweiler a run for it's money this winter/next spring, depending on when the 2-week wait ends.
 
I have not bought in quite a while... will there be a rush to buy? Just asking, I have a Boy Scout steak dinner fundraiser and will not get home until the 9:30-10:00 time... Do I need to work out other plans?
 
Well I also haven't used my FMV8. Although it makes me feel more comfortable at night having it and my CZ-85 close by when I sleep. I am going to have to try at least one of the shadow camo finishes with black Micarta or G-10.
