used from1917 by my grandfather (trench cleaner) and now by me for daily purposes

That’s all I remember as well John and Jeff…
Will we forget more that anyone will ever know ?? Hope not 😂
Here’s a great thread on Winchester’s history with great examples and a fine read indeed…

Stunning Farmers Jack example Augue my friend and a perfect one to show the great Bone as with Cals Muskrat.

Like Charlie said Gus - those two Remington Jacks are worth showing on a daily basis- gorgeous Bone on both.

Rob, what a wonderful addition- beautiful Knife and a great pattern!

Charlie- I chuckled over your “ Lowly” Scouts - as Gus said those are treasures today and would be the highlight of ones Scout collection- wonderful examples Charlie.

Jeff I can see why you asked that question because Catt Bone sits beside some of Remington Bone with just as spectacular jig work - some of it being very deep and chunky just like Remington’s best.

Wow Charlie
THE grail for many - would it be fair to say near impossible to find one in that most splendid condition! Simply amazing Charlie - Thank You!
