As far as I know, I'm good for the Convention. Got the Camera lined up, now I need to find a ride down.

Almost dropped out of sight. Looks like about 15 firm so far. I figure about 20 + the HI staff. Enough for a meeting room at Atlantis or Peppermill.

BTTT - Can't wait.

And I've started a conformation tread.

I am so excited. I am counting the days. Uncle Bill-- stupid question: If we have the khonvention at the Peppermill or Atlantis, will we be able to bring khukuris for show and tell? I've never been to Reno, let alone either of these casinos, so I am unfamiliar with local knife laws and such.

Yes, you can bring the khukuris for show and tell but to avoid problems put them in a suitcase or some kind of bag until you get to the meeting room. Security will jump you if you carry them thru the casino unsheathed or on your belt.

Uncle Bill-- are you speaking from the wisdom of experience or the wisdom of common sense?:D

Anything suspicious is going to get you pulled over by casino security -- and if not suspicious a fellow wandering thru the crowds carrying a 30 inch blade does attract unwanted attention.

So, in other words, we should all wear trench coats and bring our collections in those black or silver brief cases like in the movies?:p

any way to have this at the Hilton during the gun/knife show maybe in a smaller room next to the show? Not only will you have all the show visitors (could be real good for your bussibess)there but taking a weapon from your room or car is no problem at all and does not need to be hidden
