@black mamba The 56 is a fine pattern Jeff, big favourite of mine as it has an excellent in hand feel. A good size for most tastes too.

Here's my Jack version from the first run in Amber Bone, Catherine the Great massive copper 5 Kopecks shown with it.

Like I said earlier, the Barlow frame really suits the Spear's streamline. Here. a GEC 77 NF Barlow

Jess Horn called this his Slim Spear Lockback. It is small - the cutting edge is 2-1/4" and its only 5-5/8" fully open. But man is it sweet!

I'm not confident that I always recognize blade shapes, including spearpoints. Here are some examples of knives, all with connections to Spain, that I'd call spear blades. Please let me know if I'm wrong, and identify the correct blade shape for me. Thanks in advance for your input!
    A. I'm very confident that this JJ Martinez marinera has a spear blade:

    B. These two have very similar, if not identical, blade shapes; are they spearpoints?

    C. Saber-ground spear or something else entirely?

    D. Does this big Joker have a spearpoint blade?

    E. A pair of smaller Jokers: does either sport a spear?

    F. I've seen this type of blade called "leaf-shaped"; just a spear by another name?
