What are your favorite TV/movie scenes involving knives/other blades?

In Rambo 2, 3, and 5 Stallone uses boot daggers alongside his main blades. In 2 & 3 he uses a 12" stiletto as a throwing knife, and in 5 he uses a damascus dagger he made for Gabriella to put down one of the cartel leaders.

James Bond carries a CRKT Sting in one of the newer Daniel Craig movies, I can't recall which one. James Bond has also used a Gerber MKI, 06 Auto, a Mikov Predator, and a custom throwing/boot knife in "From Russia with Love".

I don’t think it’s been mentioned so I’ll do it here. The movie “The Professional” starting Jean Reno and Gary Oldman. Jean Reno plays the part of a Professional hit man protecting a young girl (a young Natalie Portman).

First of all ....it is an excellent movie and I highly recommend it. In the movie, Jean Reno doesn’t say much but there comes a point in the movie when he genuinely cares for the girl and let’s her in on a bit of his personal life. He describes what it takes to be a professional killer. There is not only a great knife scene, but a gripping anecdote of when and how to use a knife as a professional killer.

This movie has a cult like following and again I highly recommend it. The final scene alone is worth it.

that pic reminds me of possibly the worst knife fight scene in film... but it was the 50s so it was 'great' for its time

big man, big knife

The Revenant & Hostiles has some solid knife scenes with frontier style pieces.
Shot Caller has a solid "any knife will kill" scene.

My favorite from decades ago has always been a scene in the John Wayne movie Big Jake. He takes a Hubertus lever action knife out of his vest pocket, flicks it open and throws it sticking in the tree next to Jim Davis who is about to hang a sheep herder and says “ you cut him down “ I’ve always been intrigued by that knife and always wanted one just like it.

Switchback (1997) - Dennis Quaid is a rogue FBI agent looking for his abducted kid. Danny Glover is a killer with a very nice looking knife (looked it up once - custom movie piece). Great little movie that I watch every few years or so.

that casual femoral artery slice scene is brutal; reminds me of the wrist slash on Drive
