What's that you're eating?

I made eggs benedict this morning for my wife. Sorry no pics, baby was fussy so we had to chow down fast.

I've got a really good "no fail" hollandaise sauce recipe if anyone is interested. It just uses a blender, food processor, or immersion blender. Easier than most recipes I've found.

It's better than any hollandaise I've had in a restaurant, but that's just my subjective opinion.
 
Went to Foxwoods Casino and walked by the David Burke Steakhouse. Reviews were really average, so I opted not to go there, but their steaks did look nice.

I did get to try Gordon Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen and the Beef Wellington was awesome!

Soup for lunch the past 2 days . . .

Shrimp Tempura Udon with my guest's Tempura dish on the other side of the table that I ate some of, as well.

This pic was taken before I started to eat. The chef obviously was chintzy w/the noodles. 🤷‍♂️

No beer in the pics, as normally would be the case, because I just went on an alcohol-free diet to lose15# from 175 to 160. Started this 12 days ago and have lost 4# already. Just 11# to go. :cool:
