Winner Announced! The Giving Thanks Thanksgiving Give Away!

I am in. Thankful to still be walking. Had emergency spine surgery back in 2014. To date I still have numbness in my lower right leg that will never go away. But, I do not need any help walking.

I'm thankful that I can call myself a part of this wonderful community we have here, with people I can call friends even though we've never met.

Great GAW.

I'm grateful that, despite my youth that I take no pride in, I have a wonderful family. Here are two of them. ;)

Thank you for the generous GAW, please count me in. I already own a Beer Scout, so if I am fortunate enough to win I will gift it to a good friend.

I am thankful for my family, friends, good health and a good job.

Thanks! This is awesome. I am thankful for my family and friends. I am also thankful for these forums so I don't feel as bad buying knives on a regular basis. ;)

NOT an entry, as I am fortunate enough to own a Beerscout. It's in my pocket now.

I am so very thankful for my loving and supportive wife and my happy and healthy children. I have all the riches a man could ever hope for. Lucky indeed.

As many others have said, I am thankful for the blessing of fatherhood. This year we welcomed our second child into the world. Our first son, who along with our 2.5 year old daughter makes two. They are the joy of my life.

That's a very generous GAW Wurrwulf. I'm in. Thanks for the chance.

I am thankful for the health and happiness of my family. My lovely wife, our daughter, and the newest member to be still on the way!

I am thankful for my wonderful fiancé and the house that we recently purchased together. I will be even more thankful when I can find a job in that city and be able to move there. Until then I just get to spend my weekends there. Also thankful to have my family near me and be able to spend holidays with them.

Thanks for the opportunity. This year our entire family is thankful that our beautiful niece Annie has beat breast cancer. She's a 4th grade teacher in an inner city school and missed her kids terribly while she was undergoing treatment. She finished her final treatment a couple of weeks ago and is now happily back In her classroom. Her courage and grace through the entire journey was inspirational.

Here's the entire family sending her wishes at our annual 4th of July reunion.

Great idea for a GAW! Thanks.

I'm thankful that, though I recently lost my job, I have three strong possibles lined up. God willing, I'll be gainfully employed again soon.

I am in. Thanks for an awesome GAW -- I've enjoyed reading all these posts. Nice to stop and feel gratitude for the things that really matter.

Like many others, I am blessed with a wonderful family--my two young children are the world to me. They never stop making me laugh. I am thankful that I am finishing up my training, and will eventually have the job I've worked for so many years to get. And I am thankful that I have the time and resources to enjoy a hobby like this.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Thank you for such a great GAW. I'm thankful for my health and the family and friends who surround me.

Not an entry, since there are many here who'd appreciate a GEC much more than I would.
Nonetheless, I think this is a fantastic GAW, Shawn, not only for the popular knife you're so generously offering, but especially for the "theme". I've thoroughly enjoyed reading about the many things for which forumites are thankful!:cool::thumbup:

As so many others are, I'm grateful that I've had a rewarding (in several ways) professional career, that I had parents who did their best to raise me "right", that I've had a fulfilling family life, and that my wife, my daughter, and I have experienced remarkably good health for most of our lives (this includes my being thankful that I've been tobacco-free for almost 2 years). I'm especially appreciative of all the acceptance I've experienced, much of it unmerited, from God, my friends, my family, my colleagues and students at work, and from the denizens of The Porch. I'm also thankful that I was given a personality that allows me, when things aren't "going my way", to shake my head and laugh, rather than bow my head and cry or shake my fist and scream.

I hope everyone has a blessed and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving Day, and good luck to all the entrants in this memorable GAW!:D

Last Call, folks. The GAW will end at 11am CST, and due to the number of entries, a random number generator will select the winner. Your Post Number is your entry number. It'd be kind of tough for me to fit 90+ names into a hat. ;) I'm so very thankful for everyone's participation and stories. Enjoy your time today, folks!

Also not an entry for me as you've already shown me your generosity Shawn. I just wanted to say that this is a wonderful GAW you're doing.
I have much to be thankful for, but right up high on the list is all the great folks on this forum. My thanks go out to all of you. :D

I am thankful for my family, and waking up another day to enjoy everything!

Great giveaway, thanks!

I'm NOT in, but have to say this is extremely cool, Wurrwulf.

I'm thankful for the continued generosity of those who make up this forum.

I've had a lot of big changes this year! Finished grad school, finished building a house and moved in, and started working at my dream job and a beautiful wife and awesome family that has stuck with me the whole time thanks for the give away and God bless and happy thanks giving
