Ironwood here. Mostly because I don’t have any..

I’d be thrilled with Bloodwood, though. It’s the best looker of any of my woods.

I missed where Mike said it would be brass pins only. Now that I know I'm glad I voted for bloodwood. Brass pins look better on red, or brown wood scales, compared to black wood scales in my opinion.

I keep thinking the ironwood, with the brushed bolsters, and a brushed propeller shield would look awfully nice too.

Initially voted AB but may change to Osage or desert ironwood. Would be great to see more pics of those if anyone has them.
Just not seeing what the big deal is with blood wood at all, myself. Looks like a reddish mahogany and rather ordinary to me.

I don’t know about that. I like the subtle accent they provide.

That’s my exact thought. I would think the ones who think Ebony is so boring, would like the brass accents to break up the “boring black.”

CD I have a long relationship with Bois d'arc and have seen a host of knife handles and pistol grips made of this tree. While the occasional piece can be extra nice, the vast majority tends to be very plain straight grain an somewhat underwhelming.

Dwight, I trust your judgement. I just want the one that @r8shell owns.
